Hospital Volunteers

As part of the healthcare team, volunteers provide service that extends that of the clinical and support staff of the Hospital. Their presence enhances the comfort and satisfaction of patients and their families.

Volunteers are particularly encouraged to contribute their time and talents in Long Term Care or to participate in community-oriented Hospital activities. West End Outreach also has various needs for volunteers as well.

Volunteers who work in the Hospital are required to pass a background check and to receive a tuberculosis blood test every year at no cost.
