Hospital Foundation
Forks Community Hospital Foundation is a private, non-profit, charitable organization which strives to enhance the quality of hospital care available to the citizens of the West End. The Foundation’s sole purpose is to raise funds to benefit the Hospital by purchasing necessary equipment. Assets are raised in a variety of ways, including:
- Donations from businesses and individuals
- Memorial gifts and bequests
- Funds raised by the Foundation through special benefit events
- Donations from physicians and other members of the medical and professional community
All funds are channeled directly into our own local healthcare delivery system. Therefore, a gift to the Foundation is an investment in our community’s future.

Bus Project for the Residents of Long Term Care
THANK YOU WEST END!
The Forks Hospital Foundation would like to express their thanks to the generous community members of the West End. In a little over five months time, the community rallied together to raise the $75,000 needed to purchase a bus that met the numerous mandated guidelines for the residents of Long Term Care. Your generosity will allow residents to remain a part of the community they cherish. Home visits, trips to the sea, visits with a beloved dog, senior luncheons, Christmas light cruises, bingo, the library, and Bogi Burgers are a few of the trips the residents missed most.
